Established in 1987, Italy’s dot IT country-specific domain name extension is quite popular both within the country and in the English-speaking world. The reason is that the domain is a pronoun, which can be used for building creative and appealing domain names – write.it, youcanmake.it and so on. This is a way to create an easy-to-learn domain name, so that it will be easier for your visitors to go back to your website or to share it with colleagues and friends. Since dot IT domains are not offered directly by IT-NIC, the Registry that controls this top-level extension, such a domain can be registered through a third-party registration provider, such as ours.
